Blessings Tradition Family!

I wish to extend an invitation to our entire community – our Dedicants, Friends and members,  who can attend to join me in a very special Tradition gathering Saturday, June 07, 2008.

I, along with some other members of the Tradition leadership, will come together for a Tradition Town Hall meeting, to discuss the current status of the Tradition and our plans for the future. We also will enjoy giving each other impromptu tarot card readings, cathcing up with each other’s busy lives and just having a good time!

We wish to institute these type of community gatherings twice a month, and invite as many members  as would like to attend to join us, as a form of community-building and strengthening the foundation of the Tradition as we move towards a future of continuing to build up the Tradition and the Learning Circle.

We want your input, your ideas and your suggestions  for ways that we can best serve you all as members of this community, and things you would like to see put in place to help all members develop and grow spiritually and as a community. We can also discuss at this tme our plans for an online Tradition Litha ritual as well.

The meeting will be held in voice over Skype, and we welcome all members, even those without microphones, to join us at 3pm Pacific and Arizona time (4pm  Mountain, 5pm Central and 6 pm Eastern).If you have not done so, please download Skype, a free and simple-to-use voice and text chat program. Membership Fees are due June 1st

Membership fees will be due beginning on June 1, 2008.  Annual dues are $15 for a single person.  We also have other fees for family and covens.

When you become a member of the Path of the Wise Ones Tradition, you are entitled to take all courses at the Learning Circle for free!  You will also receive a membership card and certificate.

All of the proceeds collected from membership dues go directly to the social programs.

As everyone knows, the Tradition is at its birth. Changes are being made daily to improve, organize, and build a Tradition.  On Monday 5th of May, I had the absolute pleasure of attending a presentation of the music from the upcoming production of Persephone, starring the wonderful Wendy Rule.

The story is told by Wendy through her beautiful singing of songs from the points of view of the Triple Goddess - Persephone (or Kore, in her maiden aspect), Demeter (the mother) and Hecate (the crone) - as Persephone makes her descent into the Underworld.  The music was played by two incredibly talented women, Elissa Goodrich on percussion, and Rachel Samuel on cello, and of course Wendy's voice was amazing.

The sound was mesmerising and almost haunting, and the dramatic aspect of the production was seen through Wendy's wonderful movement and dancing - you could tell she was really loving her time there!

After the show, Wendy came out to the bar to meet the attendees - she ensured she made time for every single person in the room, and signed CDs for those purchasing them.  As I introduced myself to Wendy, she stood agast at the fact that it was funny we were both in the same city, but came together through the podcast interview Serenity took with Wendy.
